Floss-To-Gloss
Background
Maintaining healthy oral behaviour is not a challenge just for the kids but also for the adults. Brushing once a day is not enough to avoid the build-up of plaque. I designed Floss-To-Gloss to persuade users to improve and maintain their oral health.
This project was part of the Persuasive Computing course at Dalhousie University. I implemented Persuasive Strategies to motivate the users to play the game and to bring forth a positive behaviour change.
Game Design
- I designed the Prototype with Inkscape and presented it during the class seminar.
- Users liked the idea of a gamified approach for maintaining good dental hygiene and preferred a gamified approach over other educational material. (User feedback was collected at the end of the seminar)
